So you received a notification that the virtual card you sent to your vendor has expired.
When you send a virtual card to your vendor, they’ll have 14 days to process the card, otherwise the card expires. If the card isn’t processed on time, the payment won’t be completed, and your Capital One Business card won’t be charged. You’ll receive a notification letting you know the card has expired.
3 days before the virtual card expires, both you and your vendor will get a reminder email that the card needs to be processed for the payment to complete.
How do I know that the virtual card has expired?
In your Pay dashboard, the payment will have a FAILED status.
It’s also clearly marked in the payment and bill details window.
