Accounts Payable is a solution designed to serve small businesses in the United States, including sole proprietorships. Therefore, virtually any business looking to pay their bills to other businesses can use Accounts Payable. However, there are some exceptions.
What about Puerto Rico? Puerto Rico is legally a U.S. territory. Therefore, businesses located in Puerto Rico can use Accounts Payable to pay other businesses in the U.S.
Companies that can't use Accounts Payable
We're prohibited from working with businesses involved in any of the following activities:
- Gambling and related activities.
- Multi-level marketing firms or any agents that represent them.
- Sales of tobacco, marijuana, hemp, pharmaceuticals, supplements, nutraceuticals, or paraphernalia.
- Pornography, obscene materials, or any sexual/adult services.
- Weapons, ammunition, gunpowder, fireworks, and any other explosives.
- Toxic, flammable, or any radioactive material.
- Gold, diamonds, precious metals, and related goods or services.
- Other goods and services are subject to government regulation.
