When you get or receive payments, names that appear on the checks and card/bank statements may seem confusing. Now, you can see what to expect.

What you see on your bank statement or credit card statement
Banks and credit card statements usually display the name of a vendor you’ve paid along with Melio, our accounts payable partner, like this: "Melio*pv.Vendor name".
Each bank may display payment details differently, which is outside of our control. That said, “Melio” will always appear on the statement.
What your vendors see on their bank statement
When your vendors receive payments via bank deposit, your company's name along with “Melio” will appear on their bank statement, like this: "Your Business Name melio CCD"

When your vendors receive a payment via paper check, it has your business's name on it, and looks like this:
What appears in the memo?
This is the same as the note you leave in the “Leave a note for your vendor” section when completing your payment.
