All our bank transfers (ACH) rely on The Fed, and won’t be processed on a federal holiday. Payments to vendors via Accounts Payable that are scheduled for a federal holiday or the following 3 days will be delayed by 1 day. Transactions completed online that day will not be processed until the next business day. We suggest scheduling payments a few days early when a federal holiday is coming up.

When scheduling your payment deduction date, federal holiday dates will be blocked on the calendar.

Federal holidays that fall on a Saturday or Sunday

Five federal holidays have fixed dates and occasionally fall on a weekend. If the holiday falls on a Sunday, it’s observed the following Monday. When the holiday falls on a Saturday, some banks may be closed the Friday before.
